All donations are exempted from Tax under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961. Also registered under Section 6(1) of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act of 1976.

CORD’s work has been supported by various agencies and people from different corners of the world. United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Ford Foundation, Norwegian Agency for Development (NORAD), Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), Abilis Foundation, Pentagon Charitable Trust, People’s Science Institute (PSI), Sir Rattan Tata Trust (SRTT), National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD), Orissa State Government, Grow Talent Co. Pvt. Ltd., Corporate Sector, Trusts and many other individual donors specially Late Shri K.B. Shroffji supported its programme at various stages of its evolution.

Chinmaya Mission Halton Region, Canada has spearheaded many fundraising events with matching contribution from CIDA. Chinmaya Mission Centres all over the world have coordinated various fund raising events with the blessings of Pujya Swami Chinmayanandaji earlier and now with supports of Swami Tejomayanandaji.

Walk-a-thons & presentations on CORD have been organized at various centres in Chinmaya Missions to raise funds for CORD. Individuals have also helped promote the Programme through radio, television and so on.

Volunteers from different countries especially US, Canada & UK have contributed and enriched the programme by volunteering from few weeks to a year. Chinmaya Yuva Veers from India along with few other volunteers from India have given more than two years of volunteer service to CORD.
