6. Kangra District Faculty member for training Panchayat Leaders.
7. NGO member for state level Regional Consultative Committee on Agriculture
and Rural Development (RECCARD) facilitated by National Bank for Agriculture
and Rural Development (NABARD), Regional Office Shimla.
8. Advisor on Women Entrepreneurship for “Kangra Regional Udyog
Association”.
9. Special invitee member for District Level Review Committee (DLRC),
District Level Consultative Committee (DLCC) and Block Level Bank Committee
(BLBC) of Kangra District.
10. 20th of every month District Police Department visit the project office
for settling cases of atrocities against women in CORD-Sidhbari.
11. Member HIV-AIDS Control Society at District Kangra.
12. CORD is the NGO representative in Governing Council of Health and
Family Welfare Society, District Kangra.
13. Working in close collaboration with People Science Institute, Dehradoon
for Sir Rattan Tata Natural Resource Management Project (Watershed project)
in village ‘Kand’.
14. Member of State level monitoring/review of the
functioning of Panchayat Raj Training Institute (Local Self Governance),
Baijnath.
15. Member of State level Tuberculosis Co-ordination Committee for overseeing
the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the National
Tuberculosis Control Programme in the Himachal State.
16. Trained 120 Multipurpose Health Workers (Females) who have been absorbed
in the Himachal State Health Services.
17. State coordinator and now Regional Co-ordinator for 9 States of Northern
India for NCPEDP (National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled
Person) and member of District Disability Committee, Kangra.
18. Initiation of Community Based Rehabilitation for Disabled and networking
with other community groups (like Mahila Mandals, Self Help Groups, Primary
Health, Balwadies, Balvihar, Adolescent Girl’s Groups and Youth
Groups) and promoting Income generation activities with them.
19. Trained other NGOs as resource persons in Reproductive and Child Health
in Northern India under the ages of Voluntary Health Association of India
(VHAI).
20. Professionals from Delhi School of Social Work and Tata Institute
of Social Science have worked in CORD-SIDHBARI as part of their internship.
Ms Nathalie Pelletier a student from Canada worked on ‘Women Communication’,
a thesis that received excellent reviews.
21. Helped to publish 5 editions of Self Help Group manual with NABARD
(3 by NABARD and 2 by CORD).
22. Member advisory group in VHAI (Voluntary Health Association of India)
book entitled “Where Women have no Doctor” and also member
of State Level Panchayat Raj Advisory Committee.
23. Collaborate with NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development)
as Self Help Group promoting Institution for Northern India in 5 states
- H.P, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttranchal.
24. Member of National Abilympic Association of India (NAAI) to promote
the ability and skills of disabled persons. Member of Special Olympics
Himachal Pradesh.
25. Have received the state award (HP) for its SHG work from NABARD.
26. Received Best Facilitator Award for Promotion & Linkage of SHG
in Sundergarh District in 2006 from Women & Child Development Department
of Orissa.
27. Won Nina Sibal Memorial Award in 2006 awarded by AIWEFA (All India
Women's Education Fund).
28. The National Director Dr.Kshama Metre awarded Padma Shree in year
2008 for the work in the social sector.
